Good morning from London where the FTSE 100 is up once again this morning ahead of today’s big interest rate call over in the US.
Most of the big stories coming out of the UK this morning are company earnings, and Aston Martin Lagonda Global Holdings PLC (LSE:AML) shares are down 10% on the day after the luxury car maker scaled back its full-year volume guidance on production issues with the DB12.
GSK PLC (LSE:GSK, NYSE:GSK) has had a more positive start, highlighted strong sales of its respiratory virus vaccine Arexvy as a factor in good third-quarter results.
Retailer Next PLC (LSE:NXT) also rose early on too, lifting its full-year profit guidance on stronger-than-anticipated sales in the three months to October.
Outside of this morning’s earnings announcements AstraZeneca PLC (LSE:AZN)has announced a partnership with French firm Cellectis which will see the pair work together on gene therapies.
Nationwide Building Society are reporting that average UK property prices had rose by 0.9% between September and October.
