Sidus Space Inc (NASDAQ:SIDU) announced that it has successfully completed environmental testing of its AI-enhanced LizzieSat satellite, marking a critical milestone in preparation for the upcoming launch expected in the first quarter of 2024.
The Space and Defense-as-a-Service satellite firm said testing was completed by NTS Orlando where the LizzieSat Spacecraft underwent random vibration testing resulting in flight-qualification levels.
"This test is a critical step in validating that LizzieSat is ready for flight," LizzieSat program manager Lindsey Waitt said in a statement.
"In addition, we have completed other critical actions including obtaining the necessary launch and operating license."
Sidus Space noted the test was performed on the fully integrated LizzieSat Satellite that is manifested to launch into space early next year.
