Frontier IP Group PLC (AIM:FIPP) has announced that chairman Andrew Richmond will be stepping down from the board after serving for more than 11 years.
Richmond will remain on the board until Frontier IP’s AGM in December, where he will not seek re-election as a director.
Dame Julia King, Baroness Brown of Cambridge, who joined the Frontier IP board of directors in October 2021 and is currently the senior independent director on the board, will assume the role of chair following the AGM.
"It has been an immense privilege to serve on the board of such an exciting company and to witness the group's growth during my time here,” Richmond stated.
“Julia has already proved to be an invaluable member of the board,” he added. "In the two years she has been with us, she has put her extensive experience and knowledge of industry, academic and the political world to Frontier IP's great benefit.
“The group will be in capable hands."
Chief executive Neil Crabb stated: "I would like to take this opportunity to thank Andrew for his service, support, and counsel over the years of our growth and wish him every success for the future.
“I also look forward to welcoming Julia as chair for the next phase of our evolution."
