Perk Labs Inc. (CSE:PERK, OTCQB:PKLBF) announced Thursday that its subsidiary Getit Technologies has been chosen as the ordering and payment technology provider by the Carleton University Student Association (CUSA) for its Ottawa campus and student body.
Under the multi-year partnership, Getit will roll out its web-based QR code ordering solution at CUSA’s food outlets, starting with Ollie’s Pub and Patio, and will facilitate ticketing and registration for all events hosted by the association.
It will provide CUSA with a mobile app featuring loyalty points, food and beverage ordering, ticketing and registration, and merchandise and retail offerings.
Orders made through the app will be available for pickup and on-campus ordering.
"Our team at Getit is looking forward to working with the CUSA executive team to digitalize their property and offering for their student body and faculty to truly take advantage of modern technology that enhances the student experience for a more efficient campus," Getit chief development officer Ben Lacroix said.
CUSA Director of Communications and Strategy Christine Falardeau said the association was looking forward to bringing Getit's custom app and payment solution to the Carleton campus.
"Using Getit's technology, we are able to speed up order times for our busy students and keep more money on campus to continue providing the events, services, and programming that Carleton students enjoy,” Falardeau said in a statement.
Perk Labs, the owner of Getit Technologies and Perk Hero Software, provides innovative mobile ordering and payment systems, allowing customers the ability to scan a QR code or NFC sticker to order and pay for their purchases directly from their phones.
