Seeing Machines Ltd (AIM:SEE, OTC:SEEMF) has appointed US car sector veteran Stephane Vedie as a non-executive director effective immediately.
Vedie has 25 years of experience in the automotive industry, working for global corporations in Europe and North America, and is currently the CEO of Michigan-based LUXIT Group, a global lighting supplier to the automotive industry.
Prior to LUXIT, Vedie was CEO of Magneti Marelli and before that Varroc Lighting Systems.
Yong Kang (YK) Ng, a non-executive director since 2016 and member of Seeing Machines' risk committee, will not be standing for re-election at this year’s AGM.
Kate Hill, Seeing Machines' chair, commented that Vedie’s considerable automotive industry pedigree would be invaluable as the driver monitoring software specialist grows its OEM and aftermarket businesses globally.
