Doubleview Gold Corp (TSX-V:DBG, OTCQB:DBLVF) reported that inaugural drill results from the south extension of the Lisle Zone at the company's polymetallic Hat project have expanded the Lisle Deposit by 120 meters to the south and increased the volume of mineralization to be included in the upcoming resource estimate for the project, which is scheduled to be completed in the first quarter of 2024.
Highlights from the drill results include hole H058 which returned assays of 0.49% copper, 0.18 grams per ton (g/t) gold, and 33 g/t scandium over 125.8 meters.
The company said this intercept may be of the same horizon that was encountered in the main Lisle deposit’s richer parts.
All drill holes from this zone returned greater-than-average assayed scandium values when compared to all other areas of the project to date, Doubleview highlighted.
"It is exciting to discover these new extensions to the south of the Lisle Zone that have added important dimensions to the deposit and indicate further potential in and to the south,” DoubleView CEO Farshad Shirvani said in a statement.
“The remaining 2023 drill holes will continue to explore this part of the deposit and we also note the strong contribution of the critical metals, copper, cobalt and scandium. The dimensions of the Hat deposit keep increasing and drilling has not found the limits."
The company’s 2023 drill program continues, and additional results will be announced as they become available, Shirvani said.
Vancouver, British Columbia-based Doubleview is a mineral resource exploration and development company. It identifies, acquires and finances precious and base metal exploration projects in North America, particularly in British Columbia.
