Quantum Blockchain Technologies PLC (AIM:QBT) shares showed no sign of slowing down on Tuesday, with the bitcoin mining technology company adding another third to its market price, marking a threefold pump in the past five trading sessions.
The rally comes after the AIM-listed group disclosed in a 20 October tweet that its proprietary mining software was “available as a SaaS client-server cloud application by uploading an upgrade to the mining rigs' firmware”.
Quantum followed with a statement saying that it was “not prepared to share the source code of its methods with any third party”.
As a crypto-adjacent company, Quantum stock is also benefitting from the recent surge in bitcoin prices, which are up over 20% week on week.
Shares were swapping for 2.85p with a market value of £18.8 million at the time of writing.
