Visa likely to beat estimates with fiscal 4Q results after the bell

Visa Inc (NYSE:V) is expected to report earnings after the market closes on Tuesday, and analysts at Jefferies are expecting positive results.

The Street consensus for the credit giant is earnings of $2.13 per share on revenue of $8.12 billion, compared to earnings of $1.86 on revenue of $7.79 billion a year earlier.

Jefferies is even more bullish.

“Our net revenue est of $8.584 billion is based on service revenue growth of 13% year-over-year ...data processing growth of 13.5% year-over-year on processed transaction growth of 10% ... international transaction fee growth of 9% year-over-year," the analysts wrote in a note to clients.

Notably, Visa has beaten the Street EPS consensus in each of the last four quarters.

Shares of Visa traded 1.1% higher Tuesday morning at $234.10.
