Impact Biomedical, which specializes in treatments in fields such as oncology, neurology, and immunology, has announced plans for an initial public offering (IPO).
According to documents filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the firm intends to list its shares on the New York Stock Exchange.
While the filing did not disclose the number of shares to be offered or the estimated share price, it did provide insights into the allocation of the IPO proceeds.
Around 40% of the net earnings will be invested in research and development, 10% is slated for acquisitions, and the remaining funds will be utilised for capital purposes.
In addition to its focus on healthcare treatments, Impact Biomedical also engages in consumer-oriented initiatives.
