Europa Oil & Gas (Holdings) PLC (AIM:EOG) chief executive Will Holland told investors he is pleased operations at the Wressle field have “gone smoothly”.
Work to install a downhole jet pump and recomplete the Wressle well has been successfully concluded, while operations to upgrade surface facilities are now in the final stages.
The Wressle well is now expected to resume production in the week commencing 23 October 2023.
"Operations to install a jet pump at our core Wressle oilfield are progressing well, with production from the field expected to restart next week.
“We are pleased that the work has gone so smoothly and I look forward to updating the market on resumption of production."
Europa owns a 30% interest in the UK onshore field, located in Lincolnshire.
