Fabled Copper Corp. (CSE:FABL) announced that it has completed its First Phase sampling program of three roadside lithium-bearing pegmatites on its Volt 1 project in Quebec.
The company said that the program was carried out during a half-day in late July 2023 during which a ban on forest work, put in place due to the forest fires in northern Quebec, was lifted.
The three samples were taken from outcropping of pegmatites on a west-trending road in the central portion of the property and Fabled noted that they were “by no means indicative of the property potential.”
All three samples contained lithium, cesium, tantalum, rubidium, beryl, potassium, and niobium, except for sample 28921 which lacked tantalum.
Given the small size of the First Phase sampling program, with just three samples taken over the entire property, the company has commenced a Second Phase Exploration Program. A team is currently in the field.
Fabled Copper is a junior mining exploration company. Its focus is to create value for stakeholders through the exploration and development of its existing drill-ready copper properties located in northern British Columbia.
