Shares in Digital 9 Infrastructure PLC (LSE:DGI9) jumped 12% on Tuesday morning as the company said it had come up with a plan to boost shareholder value and appointed Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS) to help.
Having engaged with shareholders representing some 74% of its issued capital, the investment trust said feedback had been received on its dividend policy and future direction.
“Having considered the shareholder feedback, the board is developing a set of actions focused on maximising shareholder value,” Digital 9 said in a statement.
This follows the start of a consultation in late September, after the firm opted not to declare an interim dividend as high interest rates hit its balance sheet.
Shares climbed 11.8% to 38.17p on the news, with Digital 9 adding more information would come in “due course”.
