Hillcrest pursuing investment and commercialization opportunities in the UK

Hillcrest Energy Technologies Ltd (CSE:HEAT, OTCQB:HLRTF) told shareholders that its leadership team, including CEO Don Currie, strategic advisor Dan Coker and chief commercialization officer James Bolen, last month toured the United Kingdom to pursue additional investors and commercialization opportunities.

The company said during the trip, the team presented at an invitation-only event hosted by Global Partnership Family Offices and attended meetings with automotive manufacturers and suppliers and financial institutions.

CEO Currie has been invited to return to London this week for a series of follow-up meetings with several family offices and other potential investors.

Another round of meetings has been scheduled with several automotive manufacturers and suppliers to discuss co-development opportunities for Hillcrest’s zero voltage switching (ZVS) technology.

"We appear to have garnered earnest interest in the UK and intend to harness this momentum to secure new investment and commercialization opportunities,” Currie said in a statement.

Further, Hillcrest announced it has appointed Shru Dawande to the role of senior firmware engineer.

Dawande brings more than 15 years of progressively advanced power electronics expertise, Hillcrest noted.

"Mr. Dawande's proficiency in embedded systems promises to significantly bolster our capabilities and expedite the progress of our product development initiatives,” commented Hillcrest chief technology officer Ari Berger.

Hillcrest is a clean technology company focused on providing advanced power conversion technologies and digital control systems for next-generation powertrains and grid-connected renewable energy systems.
