Johnson & Johnson's 3Q earnings in spotlight next week following Kenvue split

Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ) is slated to report earnings before the market opens on Tuesday in what will be the company’s first report since spinning off its consumer health division, Kenvue.

For its third quarter, JNJ is expected to post revenue of $21.04 billion and earnings of $2.51 per share, compared to revenue of $23.79 billion and earnings of $1.68 per share a year earlier.

A quarter ago, Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ) saw its consumer health, pharmaceutical and medtech segments all grow, resulting in total sales of $25.5 billion.

Now, investors will be watching for what the sales mix looks like without the consumer health division in tow.

Following the split, JNJ issued full-year sales guidance of $83.2 billion to $84.0 billion, down from previous guidance of $98.8 billion to $99.8 billion.

Shares of Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ) gained 0.4% Friday afternoon to $156.95.
