VolitionRx holds roundtable on sepsis management

VolitionRx (NYSE-A:VNRX) has revealed insights from a recent Key Opinion Leader (KOL) roundtable focused on sepsis management.

The KOL roundtable brought together a panel of leading experts in sepsis to discuss the potential of leveraging Volition's Nu.Q NETs technology in clinical practice.

Discussions centered around how Nu.Q NETs could enhance the management and outcomes of sepsis patients.

Additionally, the panel explored its potential applications in early diagnosis, treatment guidance, treatment monitoring, and personalized medicine. The KOLs also identified potential areas for future research in this domain.

The roundtable was chaired by Professor Djillali Annane, Professor of Medicine at University Paris Saclay-UVSQ and University Versailles SQY. Other attendees included Professor Evangelos J. Giamarellos-Bourboulis, Professor Mervyn Singer, Professor Adrienne Randolph, Dr. Tanya Novak, Professor Michael Bauer, Professor Guillaume Monneret, Professor Lea Payen, Dr. Andrew Aswani, and Dr. Andrew Retter.

Remi Rabeuf, Lifecycle Leader at Volition, said in a statement that the company was “delighted” to bring together leading experts in sepsis to explore Nu.Q NETs potential.

“The panel discussed how Nu.Q NETs could be used to enhance the management and outcome of sepsis patients and its potential application in early diagnosis, treatment guidance, treatment monitoring, and personalized medicine,” Rabeuf said.

Roundtable participants also discussed areas for future research.
