Silver Bullet Mines Corp. (TSX-V:SBMI, OTC:SBMCF) announced it has intercepted the target mineralized zone along the vein behind the Treasure Room at the Buckeye Mine in Arizona, a zone management said it expects to contain higher-grade silver mineralization based on historical data.
The company said confirmation would depend upon multiple rounds of sampling, which will be collected and then assayed at Silver Bullet’s 100%-owned assay facility.
Silver Bullet said it also intends to send samples to an independent third-party lab for confirmation analysis and for analysis for other metals.
It plans to continue mining along the vein, refine a plan to maximize recovery of the metals from the zone, and begin shipping mineralized material from the zone to its 100%-owned mill in Globe, Arizona for processing.
Further, the company intends to further engage a contractor whom it recently contracted for a Ground Penetrating Radar System Study of the zone to help determine the overall extent of the zone, the vein system and potential parallel structures.
Silver Bullet's shares rose on the news, up 4.2% at C$0.13 at Wednesday's closing bell.
Silver Bullet is a silver and copper exploration and development company with projects in the western United States.
