Klondike Gold Corp. (TSX-V:KG) has provided the market with an update on progress made during the 2023 exploration and development programme on its 100%-owned Klondike District Property in the Dawson mining district, Yukon, Canada.
The company has mapped faults, prospected and taken samples on several properties, including Dominion, Gold Run and Gay Gulch, undertaken 2,340 metres of diamond drilling across several projects, and overseen a regional BLEG sampling program.
"Our 2023 field season was intense and highly productive,” said Peter Tallman, Klondike Gold's chief executive.
“We really appreciated and enjoyed the collaboration and input from orogenic gold experts Rich Goldfarb & Ben Frieman who worked alongside us for portions of the season to establish the Klondike Gold District as a world-class orogenic gold district with potential for significant gold mineralization over the plus-50 kilometer strike length of the property.”
Results from much of the work undertaken are still pending, he continued.
“In the longer term we are confident our disciplined focus on the Klondike will deliver for shareholders."
