Shares in YouGov PLC (AIM:YOU) accelerated almost 16% higher on Tuesday morning as the research and data analytics group reported strong full-year results in spite of a challenging backdrop.
Adjusted pre-tax profit rose by 63% to £56.4 million during the year to July, the group reported on Tuesday, while per-share earnings jumped even further, by 71% to 40.5p.
Revenue growth of 17% to £258.3 million was “well ahead of the industry” and achieved despite challenging macroeconomic conditions.
“Demand [...] remains strong with continued new business momentum, high renewal rates and sticky customer relationships,” chief executive Steve Hatch said.
Shares jumped 15.80% to 799p.
