Currys PLC (LSE:CURY) said it is mulling offers for its Greek business from "several" potential buyers but it is still not certain whether a sale will go ahead.
The electrical products retailer launched a strategic review back in June to consider all options for the Kotsovolos chain, which operates around 90 stores across Greece and Cyprus, and is “performing and profitable”.
Currys said in a statement today that since then it has received interest from potential buyers of Kotsovolos, which have submitted non-binding offers.
The board is currently evaluating these offers with the help of its advisers, but said the strategic review "remains ongoing".
