Wincanton PLC (LSE:WIN, OTC:WNCNF) said trading was in line with market expectations in the first half of the year.
The supply chain group said profit is expected to be weighted towards the second half as in previous years due to the seasonal nature of contracts and the timing of new customers being onboarded.
Following the reorganisation of the group transport operations, announced in May with the aim of creating a more profitable and digitally enabled service, revenue is expected to be lower than last year, in line with the first-quarter update.
The current market consensus is for a profit before tax of £50.3 million for the full year to March 2024.
