BlackRock Inc (NYSE:BLK) is scheduled to report earnings before the opening bell on Friday when the asset manager will look to extend its streak of earnings beats.
The investment firm has topped Street expectations on earnings in each of the last four quarters with an average surprise of more than 12%.
For the third quarter, BlackRock is projected to post revenue of $4.57 billion and earnings of $8.51 per share, compared to revenue of $4.31 billion and earnings of $9.21 per share in the year-ago quarter.
Notably, the Zacks Consensus Estimate for BlackRock's earnings has been revised down 1.6% over the past week.
Investors will be watching for growth in the firm’s assets under management, which are likely to have increased due to inflows to iShares, BlackRock’s group of exchange traded funds (ETFs).
The Zacks Consensus Estimate for BlackRock’s AUM is $9.58 trillion, 20.3% higher year-over-year.
Shares of BlackRock declined 0.7% Monday to $643.62.
