JPMorgan Chase & Co (NYSE:JPM) will report third-quarter earnings Friday morning when it will look to outduel its rivals at Citigroup Inc (NYSE:C) and Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE:WFC).
The bank is expected to post revenue of $39.64 billion and earnings of $3.87 per share, compared to revenue of $32.72 billion and earnings of $3.12 per share in the year-ago quarter.
Notably, the Zacks Consensus Estimate has improved 0.8% over the past 30 days, suggesting the company could be positioned to deliver an earnings surprise.
A quarter ago, JPMorgan reported revenue of $41.31 billion, up more than 34% year-over-year and more than 11% above the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $37.06 billion.
The bank has also beaten EPS expectations in each of the past four quarters.
