EHang surges before trading halt, investors await 'very significant' news

EHang Holdings (NASDAQ:EH) surged early in premarket, gaining nearly 8%, before the manned aerial EV company asked for its stock to be temporarily withdrawn from the Nasdaq, pending a “very significant development regarding its business operations”.

The company intends to make this announcement and apply to resume trading on Nasdaq by Friday, at no later than 5:00am.

In New York, in premarket, EHang had gained $1.34 or 7.84% changing hands at $18.44.
