American Airlines, Delta and United halt flights to Israel after Hamas attack

Major US airlines, including American Airlines Group (NASDAQ:AAL), United Airlines Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:UAL), and Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL), have halted flights to Israel following the country's declaration of war in response to a large-scale attack by Hamas.

The US State Department has also issued travel warnings for the region, highlighting the risks of terrorism and civil unrest.

American Airlines has suspended its service to Tel Aviv until the end of the week and has issued a travel alert to offer more flexibility for affected customers.

United Airlines has also suspended its Tel Aviv flights for an indefinite period, stating that it will resume operations when conditions are safer.

Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) has canceled its flights to Tel Aviv for the current week and advises customers to check its app or website for updates and ticket adjustments.

All three airlines emphasize that they are closely monitoring the situation and will make operational changes as necessary to ensure the safety and security of passengers and crew.
