Chill Brands inks deal for vapes to be sold in WH Smith

Chill Brands Group PLC (LSE:CHLL, OTCQB:CHBRF) has announced a deal with WH Smith PLC (LSE:SMWH) to sell vape products in its stores.

Some 150 WH Smith stores in airports and railway stations will stock Chill Brands’ nicotine-free Chill ZERO products under the deal.

“This significant milestone marks the beginning of an exciting journey for the company and is a clear sign of things to come,” chief executive Callum Sommerton said in a statement.

Having launched the nicotine and tobacco alternative in August, Chill Brands said some £350,000 worth of orders had now been received for the ZERO vape products.

This includes sales to over 200 independent shops in the UK, the company continued.

Under the deal with WH Smith, Chill Brands’ vapes will be stocked in WH Smith stores in Gatwick, Heathrow and Kings Cross Station.

“We are delighted that WHSmith will be the first major UK retailer to stock our Chill ZERO range of nicotine-free vapes,” Sommerton added.

“This deal will see our products go on sale in major transport hubs throughout the country, providing exposure to hundreds of thousands of potential customers every day.”
