Perimeter Medical Imaging AI (TSX-V:PINK, OTC:PYNKF) announced that it has been shortlisted in a grant funding process sponsored by the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) as part of its Precision Surgical Interventions (PSI) program.
In alignment with the Biden Administration’s Cancer Moonshot, the PSI program funds the development of new, improved tools for surgeons that allow them to successfully remove cancers from patients by better identifying and differentiating between healthy and cancerous tissue, the company noted.
Perimeter said it attended ARPA-H’s Proposer Day on September 7, 2023, and submitted an abstract which was selected to advance to the next stage of the funding process. The company is required to submit a full proposal by November 16, 2023.
