Chesnara PLC (LSE:CSN) recorded £61 million of economic value earnings, including £28.4 million from acquisitions, according to its interim results, up from a loss of £75.7 million by that metric in the first half of last year.
Hardman & Co Research said "the benefit from acquisitions meant earnings were well ahead of our normalised estimates", adding that the pensions consolidator's interim dividend rose 3% to 8.36p per share.
