AMC Entertainment Holdings (NYSE:AMC) stock rose in Monday pre-market trading after the company announced along with Parkwood Entertainment that AMC Theatres Distribution will be the global distributor of Beyoncé’s RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR.
Parkwood Entertainment is a film and production company, record label, and management firm founded by Beyoncé.
AMC said in a statement that RENAISSANCE: A FILM BY BEYONCÉ covers the journey of the RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR, from its inception to the opening show in Stockholm, Sweden, to the grand finale in Kansas City, Missouri.
The theatrical concert experience will be available in thousands of movie theaters and is set to officially open in the US, Canada, and Mexico on December 1, 2023, with additional global cities announced at a later date, AMC said.
The company’s shares were 1.5% higher at $8.11 ahead of the opening bell.
