SinglePoint Inc (OTCQB:SING) subsidiary Boston Solar has announced the integration of the SPAN Panel into its comprehensive suite of home energy management systems.
Boston Solar explained that the SPAN Panel monitors and controls circuit levels in real-time, enabling homeowners to maximize their energy savings. The panels integrate seamlessly with the company’s existing solar power, battery backup and electric vehicle (EV) charging offerings, providing an all-in-one solution for energy management.
The company said the groundbreaking smart panel comes as it celebrates over 12 years of empowering New England with the installation of more than 5,500 solar energy systems in residential and commercial buildings.
“As we continue to lead in the solar energy sector, the introduction of the SPAN Panel is a significant stride towards optimizing energy usage,” commented Boston Solar co-founder and CEO Daniel Mello Guimaraes.
Other features of the SPAN Panel include an automatic switch to battery power during outages, longer battery life during power outages, and efficient energy storage. The panels can also support all electric appliances like heat pumps, water heaters and induction stoves, and can be managed by remote control.
In addition to the existing 30% solar credit, Boston Solar said customers can take advantage of a $600 tax credit under the Inflation Reduction Act, significantly reducing the overall cost of integrating the SPAN Panel.
A subsidiary of SinglePoint, Woburn, Massachusetts-based Boston Solar is dedicated to making clean energy accessible and affordable for homeowners and businesses and has been recognized as a Top Solar Contractor by Solar Power World magazine.
