ARway.ai (CSE:ARWY, OTCQB:ARWYF) announced that it has completed the first build of the ARway platform on Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL)'s Vision Pro hardware and realityOS operating system at Apple Park, Cupertino, where it got exclusive access to early prototypes of the headsets.
Shares of the company soared on the news, adding 23.1% to US$0.41 in pre-market trading on Thursday.
The company also announced that it has upgraded its augmented reality (AR) platform to version 2.6 to include even more advanced capabilities, building on ARway 2.5 which introduced artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted pathfinding, engaging path styles and enhanced creator tools.
ARway 2.6 includes multi-map and multi-floor navigation capabilities on the Web Creator Portal which means creators can now immediately build an AR experience with three default floorplans on offer.
Other added features include audio directions and automatic re-routing, and the platform now supports multi-language and deep linking.
This new version also includes the addition of Connector Pins, which allows creators to easily connect maps at points like elevators and stairs.
The significance of the updates cannot be overstated, the company said.
“The enhanced features and improved user experience make ARway's platform an invaluable tool for businesses across various industries, driving profitability through its unique offering and advanced capabilities,” ARway said in a statement.
It pointed to notable growth in the year to date, with a 1,205% increase in active users to 3,261 and a 2,050% increase in pilots and trials to 43.
ARway is a spatial computing platform powered by artificial intelligence (AI) providing an array of augmented reality (AR) experiences for indoor spaces.
