Thor Industries (NYSE:THO) backed off Monday’s upbeat close, down 2.4% in premarket at $92.51, after the recreational vehicles producer posted earnings of $1.68 per share, down from $5.15 per share a year earlier and topping Street expectations of $0.96 per share.
Revenue was $2.74 billion, a decrease of 28% from the year-ago quarter and above expectations of $2.42 billion.
Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F)), down 0.5% at $12.52, was on the back foot in premarket after it paused a EV battery-making project in Michigan, amidst the ongoing negotiations with the UAW union, with the company citing concerns over its scope to run the plant competitively – albeit Ford said that it was a “construction pause” and no investment related decisions have yet been made.
Coty Inc (NYSE:COTY) stock was 3.3% lower, at $11.40, as the American fragrance firm originally founded by François Coty applied for a secondary listing in Paris and said it would launch an offering of 33 million shares.
Immunovant (NASDAQ:IMVT) stock spiked around 60% to $32.81, on positive results from a Phase 1 trial of a candidate drug to treat autoimmune disease. More data is due from the trial in November.
TransCode Therapeutics (NASDAQ:RNAZ) stock has seen a wild 24 hours of trading as the Boston headquartered nano-cap drug discovery firm rocketed Monday, before coming back down to earth with an after-hours equity raise.
On the back of preclinical results the RNA oncology stock traded as high as $3.20 and closed at $2.55, from a starting price of 66 cents. Then in afterhours, the company announced an $8 million raise – selling 15.7 million shares (or prefunded warrants) at 51 cents each.
In Tuesday's premarket Transcode is priced at 81 cents per share down some 59% from yesterday’s close.
