Molecular Energies names Green House boss ahead of AIM listing

Molecular Energies PLC (AIM:MEN, OTC:PPCGD) has announced Christopher Raggett as chief executive officer of subsidiary Green House Capital ahead of the latter’s planned listing in London.

Raggett previously served on the executive committee of financial services firm finnCap and was appointed to the board of net-zero energy consultancy Energise Ltd last September.

Following some 15 years in the industry, he will lead the investment firm as it is spun out of Molecular and listed on the London Stock Exchange’s junior market in the fourth quarter of this year.

“There are vast opportunities in the green energy space and a distinct need for strategic vision and direction to help entrepreneurs affect change while maintaining financial discipline,” Raggett commented.

“I am looking forward to helping the excellent existing portfolio within Green House achieve its potential and to growing the business even further.”

Molecular currently holds a 75% stake in Green House Capital, with its initial public offering on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) coming after a quiet year for floats on the market.
