Elsewhere there are also numbers due from AG Barr PLC (LSE:BAG), where the Irn Bru maker has been diversifying into new areas, and PZ Cussons (LSE:PZC), which will be looking to tidy things up following a recently issued Nigeria-based warning.

In the US later, there is expected to be a fourth-quarter earnings recovery revealed after the closing bell from wholesaler Costco Wholesale Corporation (NASDAQ:COST).
