Fabled Copper Corp. (CSE:FABL) announced that the first phase of its sampling program at its OHM lithium project in Quebec has outlined an 8-kilometre by 2-kilometre pegmatite boulder field with a pegmatite outcropping in the central portion of the property.
The company said that during the program, when 19 samples were taken, hundreds of angular and lesser amounts of rounded pegmatite boulders were seen.
The center location has a pegmatite outcropping/sub-cropping, the dimensions of which are yet to be determined.
The aim of the program was to obtain typical pegmatite samples over as great an area as possible to determine if any one area is more favorable for further exploration.
As such, the company has proposed a second phase exploration program that will likely consist of an in-depth review of Quebec Ministere des Ressources naturelles et des Forets SIGEOM database with particular attention to gradient and residual magnetics; magnetic tilt angle, magnetic analytic and magnetic analytic signal and the shadow relief LIDAR over the property.
It is also planning to carry out a property-wide sampling program using diamond blade rock saws to obtain both insitu and channel samples, due to the hardness of the pegmatites, and structural and pegmatite composition and size mapping of outcrops in the central area, it said in a statement.
Fabled Copper is a junior mining exploration company. Its current focus is to create value for stakeholders through the exploration and development of its existing drill-ready copper properties located in northern British Columbia.
