Timothy Bretherton has been appointed as the new chief financial officer (CFO) of e-therapeutics PLC, effective immediately.
He succeeds Michael Bretherton, who has stepped down from the interim CFO role to concentrate on his responsibilities as a non-executive director of the company.
Bretherton joined e-therapeutics in May 2022 and previously served as the director of finance and operations.
He brings 12 years of experience in operational and financial roles, including four years as a consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers and three years as an auditor at Mazars.
He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Leicester and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
The company, listed on the AIM and OTCQX, focuses on the integration of computational power and biological data to discover RNA interference (RNAi) medicines.
