Those in search of deals on cheeseburgers worth relishing — look no further on National Cheeseburger Day.
McDonald's Corp (NYSE:MCD) is selling double cheeseburgers for $0.50 to customers who use its smartphone app, limited to one burger per customer.
At The Wendy's Company (NASDAQ:WEN), customers can get them even cheaper. Jr. Bacon Cheeseburgers are available for just a penny from September 18-22, with the purchase of another menu item.
Meanwhile, Burger King is giving out free cheeseburgers to members of its Royal Perks rewards program with a purchase of $1 or more.
So are all these cheap patties moving the market?
Share of McDonalds were nearly flat Monday afternoon at $278.34, but Wendy’s stock rose 1.5% to $20.42.
