Kodal Minerals non-executive Qingtao Zeng steps down

Kodal Minerals PLC (AIM:KOD) has announced Qingtao Zeng’s resignation as a non-executive director on the company’s board.

Having represented Kodal’s largest shareholder Suay Chin International Pte Ltd since November 2017, Zeng tendered his resignation due to personal reasons, the company said on Monday.

"I would like to thank Qingtao for his long-term involvement and support of Kodal,” chief executive Bernard Aylward said. “His contribution to our company has been invaluable.”

Zeng’s time at Kodal coincided with a strong period of growth, the group continued, with his expertise particularly aiding with its development of the Bougouni Lithium Project in Mali.

This is now in the final development and construction phase.

“Qingtao has provided a strong sounding board for our plans and has willingly offered his expertise,” Aylward added. ”The company extends its best wishes.”
