AutoZone is scheduled to report its quarterly results before the market opens on Tuesday, when investors will be watching to see if the auto parts retailer can maintain its streak of earnings surprises.
In the past two quarters, the company has posted an average earnings beat of more than 13%. This time around, the retailer has a Zacks Earnings Expected Surprise Prediction of 3.57%.
AutoZone is expected to report earnings of $45.18 per share on revenue of $5.62 billion. That compares to earnings of $40.51 per share on revenue of $5.35 billion in the year-ago quarter.
Investors will be looking for updates on AutoZone’s operations in Mexico and Brazil, where the company has 800 stores.
Shares of AutoZone declined 1.8% Friday to $2,529.68.
