Cornish Metals Inc (AIM:CUSN, TSX-V:CUSN, OTC:SBWFF) has upgraded the indicated tin resource at its South Crofty mine in Cornwall by 31%.
Indicated tin resources now stand at 43,570 tonnes, with a further 37,400 (up 15%) in the inferred category.
In a statement, Cornish Metals said the focus of this new estimate is the Lower Mine, tin-only section of the project, alongside assay results from recent drilling of the existing major structures at depth carried out as part of a metallurgical testwork programme.
Richard Williams, chief executive, said: "This is another positive development for South Crofty as we advance the project through to delivery of a feasibility study by the end of 2024.
“The updated MRE will be incorporated into the FS mine plan scheduled for release before the end of 2024.”
