ARway.ai lands contract with 2nd largest academic institute in Turkey

ARway.ai (CSE:ARWY, OTCQB:ARWYF) announced it has signed a contract with Turkish university Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi, aimed at helping students and visitors navigate the campuses more easily and supporting information and management systems.

Situated in the city of Isparta, the public university currently has approximately 70,000 students enrolled, making it the second-largest academic institution in Turkey.

The contract follows ARway’s recently announced multi-year deal with South America’s largest car rental network, Localiza.

"We are very excited to be working with yet another large enterprise customer,” ARway CEO Evan Gappelberg commented in a statement.

“We are seeing strong business momentum both on the enterprise side of the business as well as the SaaS developer side. I am expecting that this momentum picks up even more as we enter into 2024 and when Apple's Vision Pro is launched."

ARway noted that the university contract has two phases with phase one starting at around $10,000 and phase two worth six figures annually.

In phase one, ARway will add augmented reality (AR) indoor navigation to improve orientation and visitor experience and help newly enrolled university students get to know their new campuses much faster. Disabled students will be also able to use alternative routes seamlessly within the school, the company said.

The second phase will integrate with the central university management software and support the student information system. ARway noted that this integration represents a significant advancement in the overall functionality, as it will allow for the synchronization of critical data and processes.

Integrating with the central university management software will provide real-time information regarding class schedules, campus events, academic updates, and student-related data.
