Premarket: GameStop, Apple, ChargePoint, C3.ai, UiPath and more

GameStop Corp (NYSE:GME) shares were up around 6% in Thursday’s early premarket deals after the so-called meme-stock beat analysts’ expectations - though enthusiasm appeared to be waning towards the opening bell.

It generated $1.16 billion of quarterly revenue, versus $1.14 billion a year ago and a Wall Street forecast $1.14 billion. At 3 cents, the per share (adjusted) loss was much narrower than the $0.14 penciled in by analysts. Read more

Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) shares extended Wednesday's falls in pre-market trading after reports China may be setting limits on the use of iPhones by state-linked employees. Read more

ChargePoint Holdings Inc (NYSE:CHPT) shares were 10% lower in premarket after the EV charging firm’s results disappointed and it announced a 10% reduction in headcount. It continues to grapple with network reliability issues, growing adoption of rival systems, and cash burn. Read more

C3.ai (NYSE:AI) investors saw their glasses half-empty, as it shares dropped nearly 10% on a wider than-forecast full-year loss, albeit the first quarter of the new fiscal year beat expectations. Read more

UiPath Inc (NYSE:PATH) stock rose 5.5% in premarket as the software company confirmed it is among the latest to benefit from a booming AI sector. Second-quarter revenue totalled $287.3 million, up 19% year over year and ahead of expectations of $281.5 million. Read more

Verint Systems Inc (NASDAQ:VRNT) stock was down over 16% after the data software firm reported quarterly earnings and revenue below market expectations, as deal timelines slipped into the next quarter. Read more

American Eagle Outfitters Inc. (NYSE:AEO) investors found some enthusiasm overnight, the stock is more or less flat in early deals – after initially selling it 2.3% lower in afterhours, following second-quarter earnings.

The retailer posted earnings per share of $0.25 on $1.2 billion of revenue, versus analyst consensus of $0.15 and $1.19 billion. Read more
