Atlantic Lithium drilling extends mineralised area at Ewoyaa

Latest assays from an 18,500-metre (m) drill programme at its Ewoyaa lithium project in Ghana showed high grades and have extended the area of known mineralisation, said Atlantic Lithium Limited (AIM:ALL, OTCQX:ALLIF, ASX:A11).

Results from the 6,150m infill and groundwater monitoring work saw high-grade intersections in particular at the Ewoyaa South-2 deposit, where Atlantic wants to convert inferred to indicated resources.

Mineralisation at the South-2 and North-East deposits now extends outside of the boundaries used for the current JORC estimates with additional intersections reported at the Kaampakrom Ewoyaa Main and Ewoyaa North-West deposits, also outside of the current resource.

Neil Herbert, executive chairman, said: "Further results from the Ewoyaa South-2 and Ewoyaa North-East deposit have extended mineralisation outside of the current resource envelope, including 48m at 1.13% Li2O from 137m at Ewoyaa South-2, where mineralisation remains open along strike and at depth.”
