KEFI Gold said it has completed the drilling of a 13,000-metre (m) programme at Jibal Qutmani in Saudi Arabia ahead of an update to the defined mineral resource.
Trenching and metallurgical testing are ongoing, it added, with an environmental scoping study also submitted.
KEFI released the details of its current work at Jibal Qutman in an update on progress at all of its prospects in the kingdom.
At Hawiah, phase one of a 60,000m infill drilling campaign designed to expand and upgrade the initial resource is underway, which will form part of a definitive feasibility study planned for 2024.
In-fill drilling is also underway at potential Hawiah satellites Al Godeyer and Abu Sala to expand on an initial 2023 resource.
