In today's Crypto Report we look at the BTC/USD pair. It appears that a $26,000 battleground has emerged for Bitcoin against the US dollar.
Last week, Bitcoin (BTC) soared by 6%, breaking the $28,000 mark after a significant court victory for Grayscale, the world's largest Bitcoin fund. However, the cryptocurrency surrendered those gains and more as the week concluded. What's next for the major cryptoasset and how will it fair in a historically quiet month from Crypto trading?
Meanwhile, Ethereum (ETH) had a relatively quiet weekend, holding at $1,637, while altcoins like Binance's BNB, Ripple (XRP), Cardano (ADA), and Solana (SOL) remained slightly in the red. Dogecoin (DOGE) outperformed, adding 1.5%.
The global cryptocurrency market capitalization currently stands at $1.04 trillion, with Bitcoin dominance around 49.25%.
