CMC Markets PLC (LSE:CMCX) has announced Albert Soleiman stepped up to the role of chief financial officer earlier this month.
Outgoing chief financial officer Euan Marshall stepped down on 1 September, CMC said on Monday, but will stay to support Soleiman over the coming months.
Soleiman has worked at CMC since 2020, when he led the launch of the company’s Invest business, with the latest move seeing him become an executive director.
He had previously done a stint at the company after qualifying as a chartered accountant with KPMG in 2005, serving as CMC’s head of tax from 2008.
“Albert has a deep knowledge of the group which will support the execution of our diversification strategy,” chairman James Richards said.
“We have worked closely with Albert as he has developed the CMC Invest business and I look forward to working with him as a board member.”
Soleiman added: “I am excited about playing my part in delivering that strategic vision and enhancing efficiencies within the business.”
