CentralNic Group rebrands as Team Internet Group

CentralNic Group PLC (AIM:CNIC), the global internet software developer and operator, is celebrating its 10th year as a publicly traded company with a branding effort, emerging with a new name: ‘Team Internet Group’.

Team Internet Group will trade under the new ticker symbol TIG as of 5 September.

Team Internet “aligns closely with our foundational ethos”, the group said in a regulatory statement. “Our shared passion for shaping the future of the 'Internet' unifies us.”

CentralNic's metamorphosis into a profitable digital marketing technology platform business was preceded by the acquisition of German web service provider Team Internet AG in 2019.

CentralNic will continue as the overarching brand for the group's online presence businesses and the rebranding will not have any impact on business operations or financial framework.

Chief executive Michael Riedl commented: "Our tier-one businesses, cutting-edge technologies, and the boundless potential of our team will continue to fuel the company's growth, which has seen its revenues increase from $4 million at the time of IPO in 2013, to $728 million in 2022.

“Our mindset has always been about working smart, crafting solutions and innovations that we take pride in. And as we progress under the 'Team Internet' banner, our shared purpose becomes even more pronounced, reinforcing that in unity, we will succeed."
