Fireweed Metals Corp (TSX-V:FWZ, OTCQB:FWEDF) closed its non-brokered private placement, as previously announced on August 10, 2023. The company raised a total of $16.8 million through this offering, with the Lundin Family's Trusts leading the way by subscribing for 4,635,000 shares. Other notable shareholders, including Larry Childress and Teck Resources Limited, also participated in the private placement, subscribing for 1.4 million shares and 700,000 shares, respectively. The funds raised will be used to expand the 2023 drill program and support ongoing exploration efforts.
