The Premarket: Salesforce, Victoria's Secret, Five Below, Chewy Inc, CrowdStrike

Salesforce.com Inc (NYSE:CRM) shares rose more than 5% in $215 after the company’s fiscal second-quarter results surpassed expectations, and prompted an upgrade to guidance. Read more

Victoria's Secret & Co. (NYSE:VSCO) stock dropped more than 5%, to $17.01, after its quarterly results flagged a substantial drop in operating income, declining sales and a somewhat nominal net loss of $1 million. Read more

Five Below (NASDAQ:FIVE) stock was, erm, 5% below yesterday’s closing price trading at $173.20 in premarket as the discount retailer’s outlook underwhelmed – albeit quarterly financial performance was ‘in-line’ with market forecasts. Read more

Investors took a dim view of Chewy Inc (NYSE:CHWY), down 5.3% in premarket at $25.89, after online pet products retailer warned of a drop in active customer numbers. It nevertheless posted a profit whilst Wall Street had expected to see loss. Read more

Cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike Inc (NASDAQ:CRWD) traded higher in premarket, up 1.9% at $152, the company reported a 37% improvement in second-quarter revenue, rising to $731.6 million, which was ahead of the consensus analyst forecast of $724 million. Quarterly earnings per share similarly beat expectations comfortably. Read more.
