Shares in Central China Goldfields (AIM: GGG) were buoyed by news that Chairman Nigel Clark bought 100,000 shares at 11p and Managing Director Jeff Malaihollo bought 50,000 shares also at 11p.
The shares were acquired from senior Chinese managers in the company who exercised 500,000 warrants at 8p. As a result, the managers retain 350,000 collectively, while the remaining 150,000 shares were bought by Nigel Clark and Jeff Malaihollo. Nigel Clark now holds 800,000 shares and Jeff Malaihollo 1.18 million shares.
Shares in Central China Goldfields rose 5% to 10.75 pence.
