Six Flags Entertainment (NYSE:SIX) has announced a collaboration with Google Cloud to enhance the experience of visitors to its amusement parks and optimize its business operations.
The regional theme park and water park operator said it will use Google Cloud’s Vertex AI (artificial intelligence) Conversation and other services to accelerate digital transformation at its operations, including the introduction of a cutting-edge virtual assistant powered by generative AI (gen AI).
"This partnership will propel us into the future,” Six Flags CEO Selim Bassoul commented.
“Leveraging Google Cloud's gen AI technology will help us transform our operations and, most importantly, enhance our guests' experiences, making them truly amazing. This is a pivotal moment for Six Flags and the wider amusement park sector.”
The company said Google Cloud’s AI, analytics and infrastructure will improve its operations and offer more personalization and a better and “immersive” customer experience across its parks.
On the Six Flags app, the virtual assistant will guide visitors in planning their day at the park with personalized recommendations. On the website, it will efficiently answer customer queries, significantly reducing the need for interaction with live agents.
"Generative AI can help Six Flags' accelerate their ambitions to transform both the customer and employee experience,” Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian added.
“By ingesting and synthesizing information across Six Flags' extensive park portfolio, generative AI will enable the theme park operator to redefine guest experiences, providing more personalized information about rides, entertainment, dining and more.”
Six Flags’ shares were up 0.4% at $22.61 in early New York trading.
